Chris Saltsman, a candidate for the Republican National Committee chairmanship, sent committee members for Christmas - which included a song titled "Barack the Magic Negro". The CD sent to RNC members, first reported by The Hill on Friday, is titled "We Hate the USA" and also includes songs referencing former presidential candidate John Edwards and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, among other targets.

Saltsman was national campaign manager for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's presidential bid in 2007 and 2008.

The Republican future, in his words, "Our party needs new and energetic leadership to rededicate ourselves to conservative principles, to regain the American voter's trust, and to set the stage for a dramatic turnaround in 2010 and beyond." I guess that means RACISM. Way to go republicans!

Today, a Minnesota appeals court rejected Senator Larry Craig's bid to withdraw his guilty plea in a bathroom sex sting case, ruling that his rights weren't violated.
